I was in denial when T called and told me that a close uncle of mine and his son passed away. I was shocked and speechless. I really didn’t know what was I suppose to do or who to call. After I called up A.R, I went to the toilet and cried. Returned call to A.P and C and they confirmed the news. I just couldn’t stop from replaying the news in my brain. From work, head home to change and went straight to N.U’s place. Seeing her there sitting and crying and weak just breaks my heart. T and I didn’t stay there for long cause there wasn’t much to do. When I got home, I was really determine to inform my parents as I was pressured by the Akungs to inform them. Not that I blame them for doing so. At last I managed to leave a message for them and they returned my call. They were shocked at the news too. Mum and Papa were crying over the phone. After the call, I went to my parent’s room and cried til I couldn’t cry anymore. A friend of mine told me to pray for their souls and that’s what I did. Went to the pray room and prayed for their souls and I was crying again. After that, took my bath and slept. Right now, my eyes are a bit swollen and my panda eyes have gotten worst.
Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your sons Uncle Henny and Neville whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant them light, happiness, and peace. Let them pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard them from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise them up with all Your saints. Pardon their sins and give them eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for the Deceased Person

It just got me thinking, are dreams important because Popo dreamt that Mummy was pushing a coffin of someone we knew. However, the person who passed is not who is in the dream but the above names mentioned. Is it a coincidence or is it some kind of a sign? What do you guys think? Drop a few line.

my mum said she dreamt she saw me at home. i was the one who called her and broke the news to her.
the night before out of the blue i started thinking about akung (your great grandad, of course), popo and my dad's parents. they've all passed on.
in some weird way, dreams, especially bad ones, do have meanings, it's just how you interpret them that's complicated.
